Pyrokinesis: He can turn his ecto-energy into green flames.Without any dream energy, he cannot fire them properly as he always wants them. It is implied his ghost rays can put people to sleep. Even weakened, he can fire powerful blue energy spheres and waves attacks of ecto-energy. His powers depended on this energy and without it, all his powers decrease to the point of nonexistence. Nocturn appears to absorb dream energy very slowly so he used special helmets that can sap the oneiric/dream energy out of a person when he or she is dreaming peacefully, channeling the energy into him or his capsule. The more people that are dreaming and producing oneiric energy, the stronger he becomes. He refers to this as 'harvesting,' believing the term 'stealing' to be too ugly. Dream Energy Absorption: He can drain the dream energy from humans to make himself more powerful.If faced he is unbeatable, provided he still has his power source. While in a dream, he is virtually all powerful to alter it's reality, create hundreds of Sleepwalkers, and could keep Danny and Sam from leaving his dream.

Dream Manipulation: As Nocturn is the Ghost of Dreams and Sleep, he can control people's sleep and dreams, giving him complete dominance over the slumber of others.
